The Brief

Capsool is a website that lets you combine image, video, text and audio to create geo-tagged virtual time capsules, which you can bury to be rediscovered by friends or family in weeks or years to come. The Capsool team saw how the power iPhone platform could be leveraged to create and explore capsools.

The Product

I developed an iPhone app, to mirror much of the web based functionality that capsool offers. The iPhone's camera and Location services can be used to be build up Capsools, users can also explore and view Capsools that were buried near by.

The app to capsool using a private XML-RPC api, using CocoaTouch for the iPhoneOS 3.x platform.

The Capsool iPhone app is currently in closed beta.
