The Brief

Bespoke is a hyperlocal news initiative established to look at the issue of digital and social exclusion in the Fishwick and Callon areas of Preston. They wanted to provide a novel and innovative way of presenting these news stories back to partners and the public.

The Product

I developed a website to enable editors to upload and edit stories, and for public to view and comment on stories. The stories are are presented using custom markers on a google map, where users can explore and comment on them.

This site is developed in PHP using the Symfony Framework, with FFMPEG used to process the video.
